Seed-based connectivity analyses revealed that the diminished ReHo in the IPL of subjects with ELS was correlated with decreased connectivity between the IPL and the PCC, fusiform gyrus, cerebellum, and caudate, all brain regions that are associated with clinical symptoms of PTSD. Based on these findings, we suspect that diminished IPL ReHo may be a neuroimaging biomarker of susceptibility or resilience to PTSD.
