Patients with unresectable intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) have a poor prognosis and have historically benefited from very few treatment options. In the last 10 years, image-guided locoregional therapies have been developed to administer targeted treatment to the liver and are increasingly used in primary hepatic malignancies such as ICC.
