The Psocoptera (Insecta) of Tasmania, Australia

A systematic synopsis of the Psocoptera of Tasmania, Australia, based on extensive specialist collecting and review of all available material totalling 109 species, including representatives of 15 families is provided.

Lord Howe Island Psocoptera (Insecta)

Twentyseven species of Psocoptera are now known from Lord Howe of which fourteen are probably endemic to the island, and most of the endemic species are members of the related families Pseudocaeciliidae, Philotarsidae and Elipsocidae.

TYPE SPECIMENS OF PSOCOPTERA DESCRIBED BY H. OKAMOTO IN HOKKAIDO UNIVERSITY INSECT COLLECTION

Type specimens of 20 species of the altogether 34 Okamoto's psocid species are confirmed to exist in the Hokkaido University Insect Collection.
