One of the maximum commonly used transform technique is Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). In the DCT algorithm the inputs are in spatial domain and the outputs are in frequency domain and it is mostly used for image compression. DCT using Coordinate Rotation Digital Computer (CORDIC) algorithm lessen the number of calculation and increases the accuracy.
