OBJECTIVE We sought to develop a "Model Of Recurrence After Liver transplant" (MORAL) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). BACKGROUND The Milan criteria are used to allocate livers to patients with HCC requiring liver transplantation (LT) but do not include objective measures of tumor biology.
