In this proposed work, a simple Rectangular SIW is designed which works satisfactorily in the X-Band Region where the Cut-off Frequency for the design is 5.6 GHz. The antenna is designed & simulated by using the Full Wave Simulator ANSYS-High frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) along with FR-4 as a substrate. During this course of work it provided ideal behaviour citing for the perfect working of the Antenna in the future course.
