OBJECTIVE A prospective consecutive study was planned to evaluate the postpancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) oral intake tolerance. The occurrence of delayed gastric emptying (DGE), as defined by the International Study Group of Pancreatic Surgery (ISGPS), and the amount of dietary intake were analyzed.
