Reconfigurable computing is becoming increasingly attractive for many applications. This survey covers two aspects of reconfigurable computing: architectures and design methods. The paper includes recent advances in reconfigurable architectures, such as the Alters Stratix II and Xilinx Virtex 4 FPGA devices.
