Population genetic analyses of the mycorrhizal fungus Cenococcum geophilum were conducted to test for a clonal or recombining population structure. Multilocus genotypes based on polymorphisms in 9 loci, identified in this study by PCR-SSCP techniques, were obtained for two populations.
