The importance of CYP3A enzymes in drug metabolism and toxicology has yielded a wealth of information on the structure, function and regulation of this subfamily and recent research emphasis has been placed on the human forms, namely CYP3A4, CYP3A5, CYP3A7 and CYP3A43. 2.
