The International Germanium Experiment (IGEX) has now analyzed 117 mol yr of data from its isotopically enriched (86% 76Ge) germanium detectors. Applying pulse shape discrimination (PSD) to the more recent data, the lower bound on the half-life for neutrinoless double-beta decay of 76Ge is deduced: T1/2(0ν)>1.57×1025 yr (90% C.L.). This corresponds to an upper bound on the Majorana neutrino mass parameter, 〈mν〉, between 0.33 eV and 1.35 eV depending on the choice of theoretical nuclear matrix…
Final Results of GERDA on the Search for Neutrinoless Double-β Decay.
The GERmanium Detector Array (GERDA) experiment searched for the lepton-number-violating neutrinoless double-β (0νββ) decay of ^{76}Ge, whose discovery would have far-reaching implications in
Results from Gerda
Double beta decay searches by semiconductor detectors
This paper is focused on forthcoming or planned experimental projects and R&D activities aiming to search for 0ν double beta decay (OνDBD) of 76Ge 106Cd and 64Zn by means of semiconductor detectors.
Neutrinoless double-beta decay—status of evidence and future
Double-beta decay is indispensable to solve the question of the neutrino mass matrix together with ν oscillation experiments. Recent analysis of the most sensitive experiment in the last eight
GERDA Status Report: Results from Commissioning
In June 2010 GERDA, designed to search for neutrinoless double beta decay of 76Ge, started the commissioning, with a pilot string of 3 non-enriched Ge detector. One year later 3 enrGedetectors were

The viability of producing BEGe-type detectors from isotopically modified germanium for the GERDA experiment is demonstrated by a complete test of the supply chain. GERDA is built to search for
Search for ββ-decay of $^{48}Ca$ in NEMO-3 and commissioning of the tracker for the SuperNEMO experiment
The double-β decay of 48Ca was analysed with data taken by the NEMO-3 experiment with 6.99 grams of isotope and 1918.5 days of live time. The half-life of the 2νββ of 48Ca was measured to be t 1/2 2ν

Limits on the Majorana neutrino mass in the 0.1-eV range
The Heidelberg-Moscow experiment gives the most stringent limit on the Majorana neutrino mass. After 24 kg yr of data with pulse shape measurements, we set a lower limit on the half-life of the
The double beta decay spectrum of100Mo as measured with a TPC
A time projection chamber with 8.3 grams of enriched 100MoO3 as the central electrode has been operating approximately five months in an underground laboratory. A preliminary analysis of the
Suppression of the two-neutrino double-beta decay by nuclear-structure effects.
The nuclear matrix element for 2ν double-beta decay is calculated within the quasiparticle random-phase approximation. It is shown that the decay matrix element passes through zero as a function of
Neutrinoless double-{beta} decay of {sup 76}Ge: First results from the International Germanium Experiment (IGEX) with six isotopically enriched detectors
The International Germanium Experiment (IGEX) has six HPGe detectors, isotopically enriched to 86{percent} in {sup 76}Ge, containing approximately 90 active moles of {sup 76}Ge. Three detectors of 2
Shell Model Studies of the Double Beta Decays of 76Ge, 82Se, and 136Xe.
The lifetimes for the double beta decays of $~{76}$Ge, $~{82}$Se and $~{136}$Xe are calculated using very large shell model spaces. The two neutrino matrix elements obtained are in good agreement
Lepton Number Conservation and the Double Beta Decay of $^{128}$Te and $^{130}$Te
We consider the classic argument of Pontecorvo that the ratio of ..beta beta..-decay half-lives for /sup 130/Te and /sup 128/Te may indicate violation of lepton number. We believe that the
