This paper proposes a new multi-mode and multi-standard receiver architecture for WLAN (OFDM, CCK, PBCC) and cellular systems (TD-SCDMA, cdma2000 1x-EV-DO, cdma2000 1x EV-DV, UMTS FDD HSDPA). The proposed architecture applies a FFT-based frequency-domain block linear equalization using an adapted overlap-add technique.
