In this paper real-time modeling and simulation of complete closed loop control of doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) for wind generation system is presented. Decoupled active power and reactive power control of DFIG is realized using the flux oriented vector control. Inner and outer loop controller at rotor side and the grid side converter is presented for the closed loop control of the DFIG using real-time digital simulator.
