We fabricate perpendicular magnetic recording media comprising two antiferromagnetically coupled Co/Pt multilayers and investigate its magnetic properties by ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) measurement. In such media, the magnetizations of the two perpendicular magnets are designed to compensate each other in the remanent state in order to reduce the dipolar field, which is a limiting factor in high-density magnetic recording devices.
