Every irreducible component of the variety of semi-simple n-dimensional representations of the modular group has a Zariski dense subset contained in the image of an etale map from a rational quotient variety of representations of a fixed quiver Q. As an application we prove that there is a unique component of 6-dimensional representations of the three string braid group B(3) able to detect braid-reversion. Further, we give explicit rational parametrizations of dense families of simple B(3…

F eb 2 01 8 Representation theory of Z ∗ n 2
We study the representations of the group Z 2 , the free product of Z2 with itself n-times. We use the action of Bn = S2 ≀ Sn as algebra automorphisms on the group algebra C(Z 2 ) to find the
The singularities of noncommutative manifolds
We present a faster method to determine all singularities of quiver moduli spaces up to smooth equivalence. We show that every quiver controls a large family of noncommutative compact manifolds.
Low-dimensional representations of the three component loop braid group
Motivated by physical and topological applications, we study representations of the group $\mathcal{LB}_3$ of motions of $3$ unlinked oriented circles in $\mathbb{R}^3$. Our point of view is to
Representation Theory of $\mathbb{Z}_2^{*n}$
We study the representations of the group $\mathbb{Z}_2^{*n}$, the free product of $\mathbb{Z}_2$ with itself $n$-times. We use the action of $B_n = S_2 \wr S_n $ as algebra automorphisms on the

Local Quivers and Stable Representations
Abstract In this paper we introduce and study the local quiver as a tool to investigate the étale local structure of moduli spaces of θ-semistable representations of quivers. As an application we
Stable rationality of certain PGLn-quotients
SummaryStable rationality of the field of matrix invariants ℂMn×Mn)PGLn is proved forn=5 andn=7. In combination with existing results this shows that ℂ (V)PGLn is stably rational wheneverV is an
Representations of the braid group B_3 and of SL(2,Z)
We give a complete classification of simple representations of the braid group B_3 with dimension $\leq 5$ over any algebraically closed f ield. In particular, we prove that a simple d-dimensional
DETECTING KNOT INVERTIBILITY
We discuss the consequences of the possibility that Vassiliev invariants do not detect knot invertibility as well as the fact that quantum Lie group invariants are known not to do so. On the other
