Studies of the bottom fauna of the Selenga River have identified a rare species of free-living nematodes Eudorylaimus lotharingiae Altherr, 1963. An illustrated description of females and an unknown male of this species is presented. Morphologically, E. lotharingiae is close to the Baikal species E. spongiophylus Batalova, 1963, but it differs in the lateral annulation of its subcuticular layer, wider lip region, shorter odontostyle, and longer prerectum.
