Experiments have been performed to define conditions for the primary culture of human exocrine pancreas, as a first step towards molecular reconstruction experiments of pancreatic neoplasia. Normal human exocrine pancreas was digested using collagenase and dispase and the resulting cellular aggregates were cultured in vitro.
