OBJECTIVE To compare the efficacy and safety of misoprostol in outpatient medical evacuation with surgical curettage in uncomplicated incomplete spontaneous miscarriage. METHODS Eighty women with a history of vaginal bleeding, and passage of some products of the conceptus were randomized into two groups.
