Radiostereometry (RSA) of the cemented Scientific Hip Prosthesis (SHP) reported excessive migration and predicted high failure rates. In a prospective randomized clinical trial we compared minimum 10 years results of the SHP (n=38) with the Omnifit-stem (n=37).
