A 25-YEAR-OLD WOMAN PRESENTED WITH A 2-month history of a gradual increase in right facial swelling and mild, generalized pain in her right cheek. Physical examination revealed a nontender, soft, freely mobile, 4-cm mass in the region of the right parotid gland, with no overlying erythema or associated cervical adenopathy.
