Cherenkov radiation which generates by a charge moving in presence of a dielectric prism from the base to the top is analyzed. Unlike our previous works, here we consider the case when the charge trajectory is not parallel to the prism face. We apply a new version of the aperture method which uses the expansion in terms of plane waves in the prism material and on the aperture. The integrals for the radiation field are calculated analytically in the Fraunhofer region where the field components…
