Curry Leaf (Murraya koenigii, Rutaceae) is an important plant and known for its culinary and medicinal value. Leaves are widely used as food flavourant in Indian cookery for flavouring food stuffs. Curry leaves are also used in many Indian Ayurvedic and Unani prescriptions (Joseph and Peter, 1985).
