Neurodegenerative diseases (ND) such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Huntington disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Creutzfeldt-Jacob Disease, spongiform encephalopathies, etc. are some of the most devastating human disorders affecting almost half of the world elderly population.
