1 Hiorth and Hakansson used the name Godetia amoena for C. rubicunda and G. whitneyi for C. amoena. cisco, 3.5 miles away from the population of C. franciscana, although it is possible that the two species may have been somewhat closer before construction in the Presidio. Clarkia rubicunda and C. amoena replace each other in central Marin County with scarcely any overlap, and the distribution of the latter continues northward along the coast and in the coastal mountains to Vancouver Island… Expand
