We propose a new scenario that solves the slepton negative mass squared problem of the minimal supersymmetric standard model with anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking. The solution is achieved by including three trilinear R-parity violating operators in the superpotential. The soft supersymmetry breaking terms satisfy renormalisation group invariant relations in terms of supersymmetric couplings and the overall supersymmetry breaking mass scale. Flavour changing neutral currents can be…

A viable supersymmetric model with UV insensitive anomaly mediation

We propose an electroweak model which is compatible with the UV insensitive anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking. The model is an extension of the NMSSM by adding vector-like matter fields which

Flavour violation in anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking

We study squark flavour violation in the anomaly mediated supersymmetry broken (AMSB) minimal supersymmetric standard model. Analytical expressions for the three-generational squark mass matrices are

CERN LHC signals for a neutrino mass model with bilinear R-parity violating minimal anomaly mediated supersymmetry

We investigate a neutrino mass model in which the neutrino data is accounted for by bilinear R-parity violating supersymmetry with anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking. We focus on the CERN Large

WIMPless dark matter from non-Abelian hidden sectors with anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking

In anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking models, superpartner masses are proportional to couplings squared. Their hidden sectors therefore naturally contain WIMPless dark matter, particles whose

Seesaw Extended MSSM and Anomaly Mediation without Tachyonic Sleptons

Superconformal anomalies provide an elegant and economical way to understand the soft breaking parameters in SUSY models; however, implementing them leads to the several undesirable features

Abelian D terms and the superpartner spectrum of anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking

We address the tachyonic slepton problem of anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking using Abelian D terms. We demonstrate that the most general extra $U(1)$ symmetry that does not disrupt gauge

Anomaly-mediation and sequestering from a higher-dimensional viewpoint

We study a five-dimensional supergravity model with boundary-localized visible sector exhibiting anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking, in which the central requirements of sequestering and radius

Studies of supersymmetry models for the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider

This thesis demonstrates that supersymmetry can be discovered with the ATLAS experiment even if nature conspires to choose one of two rather difficult cases. In the first case where baryon-number is
