Continuing on from previous works, we present a cosmological model in which dark matter and dark energy are modelled by scalar fields Φ and Ψ, respectively, endowed with the scalar potentials V(Φ) = Vo[cosh (λ√κoΦ) - 1] and (Ψ) = o[sinh (α√κoΨ)]β. This model contains a 95% scalar field. We obtain that the scalar dark matter mass is mΦ~10-26 eV. The solution obtained allows us to recover the success of standard cold dark matter. The implications on the formation of structure are reviewed. We…

New mechanism for primordial black hole formation during reheating
In the scalar field dark matter model virialized halos present condensed central cores called boson stars. Considering the equivalent process during reheating, we look at the formation of primordial
Wave Dark Matter and Dwarf Spheroidal Galaxies
We explore a model of dark matter called wave dark matter (also known as scalar field dark matter and boson stars) which has recently been motivated by a new geometric perspective by Bray. Wave dark
Dirac-boson stars
In this paper, we construct Dirac-boson stars (DBSs) model composed of a scalar field and two Dirac fields. The scalar field and both Dirac fields are in the ground state. We consider the solution
Fermi Bubbles in Scalar Field Dark Matter halos
In recent times, the Scalar Field Dark Matter (SFDM) model (also called Fuzzy, Wave, Ultralight dark matter model) has received much attention due to its success in describing dark matter on both
Solving the Schrödinger-Poisson system using the coordinate adaptive moving mesh method
In this paper, we implement the Adaptive Moving Mesh method (AMM) to the solution of initial value problems involving the Schr¨odinger equation, and more specifically the Schr¨odinger-Poisson system
Phases of the Bose–Einstein Condensate Dark Matter Model with Both Two- and Three-Particle Interactions
In this paper, we further elaborate on the Bose–Einstein condensate (BEC) dark matter model extended in our previous work [Phys. Rev. D 2020, 102, 083510] by the inclusion of sixth-order (or

Galaxies with fuzzy dark matter
This is a brief review on some properties of galaxies in the fuzzy dark matter model, where dark matter is an ultra-light scalar particle with mass $$m = O(10^{-22})$$ eV. From quantum pressure,
Collapse of an axion scalar field
The manuscript deals with an interacting scalar field that mimics the evolution of the so-called axion scalar dark matter or axion like particles with ultra-light masses. It is discussed that such a
Rotating hybrid axion-miniboson stars
We construct rotating hybrid axion-miniboson stars (RHABSs), which are asymptotically flat, stationary, axially symmetric solutions of (3+1)-dimensional Einstein-Klein-Gordon theory. RHABSs consist

Coherent scalar-field oscillations in an expanding universe
Motivated by the cosmological importance of coherent (classical), scalar-field oscillations in the context of the invisible axion and the new inflationary-universe scenario, we analyze, in general,
Nonlinear σ model treatment of quantum antiferromagnets in a magnetic field
We present a theoretical analysis of the properties of low‐dimensional quantum antiferromagnets in applied magnetic fields. In a nonlinear σ model description, we use a spin stiffness analysis, a 1/N

Cosmological evolution of general scalar fields and quintessence
We study the cosmological evolution of scalar fields with arbitrary potentials in the presence of a baryotropic fluid (matter or radiation) without making any assumption on which term dominates. We
Quintessence, cosmic coincidence, and the cosmological constant
Recent observations suggest that a large fraction of the energy density of the Universe has negative pressure. One explanation is vacuum energy density; another is quintessence in the form of a
On solar model solutions to the solar neutrino problem.
Variations of standard solar models as solutions tomore » the solar neutrino problem are inconsistent with the Homestake experiment and only marginally allowed by the gallium experiments.
