Quenching of singlet oxygen by human red cell ghosts.

Abstract

Time resolved measurements of singlet oxygen phosphorescence at 1270 nm were made from unsealed red cell ghosts, labeled with 5-(N-hexadecanoyl)aminoeosin and suspended in deuterium oxide buffer.
