AbstractWe investigate the entanglement-related features of the eigenstates of two exactly soluble atomic models: a one-dimensional three-electron Moshinsky model, and a three-dimensional two-electron Moshinsky system in an external uniform magnetic field. We analytically compute the amount of entanglement exhibited by the wavefunctions corresponding to the ground, first and second excited states of the three-electron model. We found that the amount of entanglement of the system tends to…
Entanglement and the Born-Oppenheimer approximation in an exactly solvable quantum many-body system
We investigate the correlations between different bipartitions of an exactly solvable one-dimensional many-body Moshinsky model consisting of Nn “nuclei” and Ne “electrons.” We study the dependence
Momentum disequilibrium and quantum entanglement of Rydberg multidimensional states
The quantum entanglement of the two components of a hydrogenic system with dimensionality $$D\ge 2$$ is investigated for the ground and excited states from first principles, that is, in terms of the
Quantum entanglement in (d−1)-spherium
There are very few systems of interacting particles (with continuous variables) for which the entanglement of the concomitant eigenfunctions can be computed in an exact, analytical way. Here we
Quantum Entanglement of Two Harmonically Trapped Dipolar Particles
We study systems of two identical dipolar particles confined in quasi one-dimensional harmonic traps. Numerical results for the dependencies of the entanglement on the control parameters of the
Shape transitions in excited states of two-electron quantum dots in a magnetic field
We use entanglement to study shape transitions in two-electron axially symmetric parabolic quantum dots in a perpendicular magnetic field. At a specific magnetic field value the dot attains a
Correlation Effects in the Moshinsky Model
We investigate quantum correlations in the ground state of the Moshinsky model formed by N harmonically interacting particles confined in a harmonic potential. The model is solvable which allows an
Pinning of Fermionic Occupation Numbers: General Concepts and One Dimension
Analytical evidence for the physical relevance of generalized Pauli constraints (GPCs) has recently been provided in [PRL 110, 040404]: Natural occupation numbers ~λ ≡ (λi) of the ground state of a

Quantum entanglement in two-electron atomic models
We explore the main entanglement properties exhibited by the eigenfunctions of two exactly soluble two-electron models, the Crandall atom and the Hooke atom, and compare them with the entanglement
Quantum entanglement in a soluble two-electron model atom
Abstract. We investigate the entanglement properties of bound states in an exactly soluble two-electron model, the Moshinsky atom. We present exact entanglement calculations for the ground, first and
Some entanglement features exhibited by two, three and four qubits interacting with an environment in a non-Markovian regime
We explore various aspects of the quantum entanglement dynamics of systems of two, three and four qubits interacting with an environment at zero temperature in a non-Markovian regime, as described by
Entanglement in massive coupled oscillators
TLDR
Surprisingly, while the interatomic entanglement can be quitelarge even for molecular coherent states, the covariance of atomic position and momentumobservables can be entirely explained by a classical model with appropriately chosenstatistical uncertainty.
Entanglement studies in a simple two-electron atomic model
With a model of a one-dimensional two-electron atom we study the entanglement properties between two particles with non-overlapping wavefunctions that interact via the Coulombic, long-range
Measures of spatial entanglement in a two-electron model atom
Different entropies which can characterize the inseparable quantum correlation in a two-electron entangled artificial atom proposed by Moshinsky are analyzed. The analysis is based on an exact
General criterion for the entanglement of two indistinguishable particles (10 pages)
We relate the notion of entanglement for quantum systems composed of two identical constituents to the impossibility of attributing a complete set of properties to both particles. This implies
Quantum Correlations in Systems of Indistinguishable Particles
We discuss quantum correlations in systems of indistinguishable particles in relation to entanglement in composite quantum systems consisting of well separated subsystems. Our studies are motivated
Entanglement in many-body systems
Recent interest in aspects common to quantum information and condensed matter has prompted a flurry of activity at the border of these disciplines that were far distant until a few years ago.
