We report a novel quantum dot (QD)-aptamer(Apt)-doxorubicin (Dox) conjugate [QD-Apt(Dox)] as a targeted cancer imaging, therapy, and sensing system. By functionalizing the surface of fluorescent QD with the A10 RNA aptamer, which recognizes the extracellular domain of the prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA), we developed a targeted QD imaging system (QD-Apt) that is capable of differential uptake and imaging of prostate cancer cells that express the PSMA protein. The intercalation of Dox…

A RNA-DNA Hybrid Aptamer for Nanoparticle-Based Prostate Tumor Targeted Drug Delivery
TLDR
The experimental results indicate that the drug delivery platform can yield statistically significant effectiveness being more cytotoxic to the targeted cells as opposed to the non-targeted cells.
Quantum dot-labeled aptamer nanoprobes specifically targeting glioma cells.
TLDR
A new kind of fluorescent QD-labeled aptamer (QD-Apt) nanoprobe is constructed by conjugating GBI-10 aptamer to the QD surface to provide a new type of stable nanoprobe for high-throughput and fast biosensing detection and bioimaging.
Tumor targeted quantum dot-mucin 1 aptamer-doxorubicin conjugate for imaging and treatment of cancer.
A drug-loaded aptamer-gold nanoparticle bioconjugate for combined CT imaging and therapy of prostate cancer.
TLDR
A targeted molecular CT imaging system capable of specific imaging of prostate cancer cells that express the PSMA protein is established by functionalizing the surface of gold nanoparticles with a prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) RNA aptamer that binds to PSMA.
Image-guided prostate cancer therapy using aptamer-functionalized thermally cross-linked superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles.
TLDR
The results suggest that Dox@Apt-hybr-TCL-SPION has potential for use as novel prostate cancer-specific nanotheranostics.
An activatable multimodal/multifunctional nanoprobe for direct imaging of intracellular drug delivery.
Multi-functional Albumin Based Delivery System Generated by Programmed Assembly for Tumor Targeted Multimodal Therapy and Imaging.
TLDR
In vitro and in vivo studies show the multimodal theranostic system can efficiently inhibit tumor growth, and the near-infrared fluorescent/photothermal dual-mode imaging enables accurate visualization of the therapeutic action in tumor sites.
Applications of Cancer Cell-Specific Aptamers in Targeted Delivery of Anticancer Therapeutic Agents
TLDR
Applications of aptamers as agonists and antagonists that activate anti-cancer and inactivate pro-cancer biomarkers, respectively, and conjugates that can deliver therapeutic agents to cancer cells are described.

抗原变异可使得多种致病微生物易于逃避宿主免疫应答。表达在感染红细胞表面的恶性疟原虫红细胞表面蛋白1(PfPMP1)与感染红细胞、内皮细胞、树突状细胞以及胎盘的单个或多个受体作用,在黏附及免疫逃避中起关键的作用。每个单倍体基因组var基因家族编码约60种成员,通过启动转录不同的var基因变异体为抗原变异提供了分子基础。
