@article{Reys2016QuantumBH, title={Quantum Black Hole Entropy and Localization in Supergravity}, author={Valentin Reys}, journal={arXiv: High Energy Physics - Theory}, year={2016} }
In this thesis, we examine in detail the notion of black hole entropy in Quantum Field Theories, with a specific focus on supersymmetric black holes and the perturbative and non-perturbative quantum corrections to the classical area-law of Bekenstein-Hawking, where the latter stipulates that the thermodynamic entropy of a black hole is proportional to the surface area of its event horizon. To examine such corrections, we employ the formalism of Sen's Quantum Entropy Function where the complete…

We compute the near-horizon radiation of quantum black holes in the context of self-dual loop quantum gravity. For this, we first use the unitary spinor basis of to decompose states of Lorentzian…

The macroscopic entropy and the attractor equations for BPS black holes in four-dimensional N = 2 supergravity theories follow from a variational principle for a certain `entropy function'. We…
