BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Patients with human papillomavirus–positive oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinomas have a better survival rate than those with human papillomavirus–negative oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinomas. DWI characterizes biologically relevant tumor features, and the generated ADC may also provide prognostic information.
