Abstract We prospectively studied the quality of life (QOL) of patients undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) through a patient-perceived dimension. We adopted Ferrans and Powers' QOL index (dialysis version) as an instrument to measure the level of satisfaction and the perceived importance in each life item to get the final score of QOL.
