Quality of life improves early after gender reassignment surgery in transgender women
TLDR

WHOQOL-100 Before and After Sex Reassignment Surgery in Brazilian Male-to-Female Transsexual Individuals.
TLDR
The WHOQOL-100 is an important instrument to evaluate the quality of life of male-to-female transsexuals during different stages of treatment, as SRS promotes the improvement of psychological aspects and social relationships.
Quality of Life After Sex Reassignment Surgery: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
TLDR
Based on the findings, SRS could improve some dimensions of QoL, including bodily pain, emotional role, and mental health in MtF transsexuals, and physical function as well as physical role in FtM transsexuals.

Employment, education, province of residence and economic status as well as therapeutic intervention is associated with transgender’s QoL.
Physical and Sociodemographic Features Associated With Quality of Life Among Transgender Women and Men Using Gender-Affirming Hormone Therapy
TLDR
Data from this study suggest that GAHT-related physical characteristics, such as breast development in trans women and increased body hair in trans men, are similar between groups, are associated with higher QoL scores, and that sociodemographic parameters may impact these associations.
It Might Take Time: A Study on the Evolution of Quality of Life in Individuals With Gender Incongruence During Gender-Affirming Care.
TLDR
The results suggest that gender incongruence improves after surgery, and may be useful for clinicians working with transgender patients, as they provide information collected assessing patients soon after surgery and may raise awareness regarding the specific clinical attention that postsurgery patients need.
Supporting sexuality and improving sexual function in transgender persons
TLDR
Experts in the field discuss trans sexuality across the gender dysphoric spectrum, and suggest ways in which trans persons can be supported in their sexuality and sexual function.
Sexuality after Male-to-Female Gender Affirmation Surgery
TLDR
Orgasms after surgery were experienced more intensely than before in the majority of women in this cohort and neoclitoral sensitivity seems to contribute to enjoyment of sexual activity to a greater extent than neovaginal depth.

Sexual quality of life in gender-dysphoric adults before genital sex reassignment surgery.
TLDR
It is indicated that before genital SRS, about half of gender-dysphoric subjects perceived their sexual life as "poor/dissatisfied" or "very poor/very dissatisfied" and receiving hormonal treatment, low negative feelings, and having a partner are related to a better subjective perception of sexual QoL.
Is hormonal therapy associated with better quality of life in transsexuals? A cross-sectional study.
TLDR
A positive effect of hormone therapy on transsexuals' QoL is suggested after accounting for confounding factors, which will be useful for healthcare providers of transgender persons but should be confirmed with larger samples using a prospective study design.
Sexual functioning in transsexuals following hormone therapy and genital surgery: a review.
TLDR
Based on the available literature, transsexuals appear to have adequate sexual functioning and/or high rates of sexual satisfaction following SRS, and transsexualism does not appear to be associated with a hyposexual condition.
Hormonal Therapy Is Associated With Better Self-esteem, Mood, and Quality of Life in Transsexuals
TLDR
Hormonal therapy was an independent factor in greater self-esteem, less severe depression symptoms, and greater “psychological-like” dimensions of QoL, and should provide pertinent information for health care providers who consider this period as a crucial part of the global sex reassignment procedure.
