This work proposes a qualitative representation for bifurcation diagrams with two varying parameters. We start from a previous defined representation for a single parameter bifurcation diagram and add the necessary definitions/constraints to extend it. In order to give sense to our proposed representation for bifurcation diagrams an algorithm to perform qualitative simulations is given; this algorithm is based on behavioural inference rules for a system going through dynamic events. Qualitative bifurcation diagrams
We explore the use of qualitative reasoning to predict the behaviour of a dynamical system given a change in one of its parameters based upon a qualitative representation of its bifurcation diagram.
Generating complete bifurcation diagrams using a dynamic environment particle swarm optimization algorithm
This contribution presents an application of particle swarm optimization methods for dynamic environments for plotting bifurcation diagrams used in the analysis of dynamical systems.
A qualitative simulation approach for fuzzy dynamical models
A fuzzy simulator is implemented that integrates a fuzzy, qualitative approach and traditional, quantitative methods, based on the Fuzzy Sets theory, extending the power of traditional numerical-logical methods.
Bifurcation, chaos, and voltage collapse in power systems
A model of a power system with load dynamics is studied by investigating qualitative changes in its behavior as the reactive power demand at a load bus is increased. In addition to the saddle node
Bifurcations, chaos, and crises in voltage collapse of a model power system
A new dynamical mechanism for voltage collapse is determined: the boundary crisis of a strange attractor or synonymously a chaotic blue sky bifurcation for an example power system model akin to one studied in several recent papers.

A Qualitative-Fuzzy Framework for Nonlinear Black-Box System Identification
A novel approach to non-linear black-box system identification which combines Qualitative Reasoning (QR) methods with fuzzy logic systems, where fuzzy rules are automatically generated by encoding the knowledge of the system dynamics described by the outcomes of its qualitative simulation.

Simulating, analyzing, and animating dynamical systems - a guide to XPPAUT for researchers and students
This tutorial discusses how to write ODE Files for Differential Equations, a very brief tour of XPPAUT, and some of the techniques used to write PDEs and BVPs using AUTO.
Numerical methods for bifurcation problems
Most physical systems are governed by evolution equations of the general form $$ \frac{{\partial \Psi }}{{\partial t}} = L\Psi + W(\Psi ) $$ (1) where L is the Laplacian operator and W
