Resume Au nord de la ville de Marrakech (Maroc), l'activité anthropique intense et la perméabilité des terrains géologiques rendent la nappe phréatique des Jbilet vulnérable. Les résultats des analyses physico‐chimiques, réalisées sur l'eau des puits durant l'année 2006, ont permis aux auteurs de distinguer deux groupes de puits. D'une part ceux situés sur la rive droite de l'Oued Tensift, loin de toute source de pollution, contiennent une eau d'assez bonne qualité, bien oxygénée, à pH neutre et aux teneurs en composés organiques assez faibles, d'autre part les puits situés dans la zone de la décharge publique de la ville de Marrakech et au sein d'une agglomération périurbaine montrent une eau de qualité détériorée. Les teneurs en sels nutritifs et en matière organique sont assez élevées. Les résultats des analyses bactériologiques de l'eau montrent une contamination fécale importante. Dans cette zone, le sol très perméable favorise le passage dans la nappe des agents polluants organiques et minéraux ainsi que des bactéries pathogènes et opportunistes. Après infiltration, ces microorganismes forment des films autour des particules du sol. Les mouvements permanents des Crustacés stygobies dans les interstices permettent aux bactéries de se fixer sur leur exosquelette et d'entrer dans l'intestin, constituant ainsi une source potentielle de contamination de la nappe phréatique. L'analyse de la flore bactérienne a montré que le taux de bactéries est très important dans le tube digestif des Crustacés stygobies Typhlocirolana haouzensis et Metacrangonyx spinicaudatus, et qu'il varie en fonction des espèces et des bactéries, Cette flore pourrait constituer une ressource nutritive potentielle pour les organismes des eaux souterraines. Mots clés: Eaux souterraines, contamination fécale, stygofaune, qualité physico‐chimique ABSTRACT In the north of Marrakesh (Morocco), the high anthropogenic activity and the permeable nature of the geological ground makes the water of Jbilet vulnerable to contamination. The results of physico‐chemical analyses conducted in 2006 showed that two groups of wells could be distinguished. Groundwater of wells located on the right bank of the Tensift River, which are far from any source of pollution, is of fairly good quality, well oxygenated, at neutral pH and with rather weak levels of organic compounds. In contrast, in the other wells in the area of the landfill of the city of Marrakesh and those in the peri‐urban area demonstrate deteriorated water quality. The nutriment and organic matter content is quite high. Results of bacteriological analyses of water showed a fairly high faecal contamination. In this area the soil is highly permeable and promotes infiltration of organic pollutants and minerals as well as of pathogen and opportunistic bacteria into groundwater. After their penetration, these microorganisms form films around grain particles. The movements of the stygofauna in the interstices allow bacteria to settle on their exoskeleton and seep into their gut, thus being a potential source of groundwater contamination. An analysis of bacterial flora showed that the rate of bacteria is high in the digestive tract of two crustacean species of the stygobites Typhlocirolana haouzensis and Metacrangonyx spinicaudatus, and that it depends on the species and the bacteria. Bacteria may be one of the potential nutritional resources for stygobites.
