Purple MediaWiki (PMWX) is an extension of MediaWiki that supports finegrained addressability. By making this feature available on MediaWiki it will be easier to support the many applications that require or can benefit from fine-grained addressability. The PMWX project engaged in a detailed study of related efforts, prepared a list of requirements, and developed a system architecture.
