Purified human antilymphocytic globulin (RPMI-CALG) has been prepared in bulk quantities by immunization of horses with purified normal lymphocytes maintained in continuous cell culture at the Roswell Park Cell Plant. The characterization studies herein described reveal RPMI-CALG to be purified, nontoxic, and nonpyrogenic with specific in vitro immunosuppressive activity.
