Oligosaccharides from porphyran digested by enzymes of Arthrobacter sp. S-22 were purified by Daiya ion HPA-75, Toyopearl HW-40S, and Sephadex G-10 column chromatography. Each of three purified oligosaccharides (high anionic oligosaccharide (OSP1), low anionic oligosaccharide (OSP2), and neutral oligosaccharide (NOSP)) showed a single peak on a Shodex SUGAR KS-801 column, respectively.
