BACKGROUND Children with feeding disorders requiring Nissen fundoplication may develop gagging and retching following gastrostomy feedings. We developed a "pureed by gastrostomy tube" (PBGT) diet in an attempt to treat these symptoms and provide adequate nutrition and hydration.
