Pulmonary artery aneurysm is a rare entity with a wide variety of underlying pathophysiological mechanisms. We report a 7-year-old boy who initially presented with suspected Lemierre’s syndrome (tonsillitis and jugular vein thrombosis). However, follow-up imaging studies showed progression of the thromboembolic changes into multiple dural venous structures as well as an aneurysm of the pulmonary artery, without respiratory symptoms.
