  • Stimulant medication has, for numerous years, been the pharmacological treatment of choice for children and adults with Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Narcolepsy. For individuals with one or more of these disorders and who take Adderall, the main effect of the drug is to attain a normal ability to focus on tasks without becoming easily distracted.
