Virtual black holes in noncommutative spacetime are investigated using coordinate coherent state formalism such that the event horizon of black hole is manipulated by smearing it with a Gaussian of width $\sqrt \theta$, where $\theta$ is the noncommutativity parameter. Proton lifetime, the main associated phenomenology of the noncommutative virtual black holes, has been studied: first in $4$ dimensional spacetime and then generalized to $D$ dimensions. The lifetime depends on $\theta$ and… Expand

The fate of radiating black holes in noncommutative geometry
• Physics

We investigate the behavior of a radiating Schwarzschild black hole toy-model in a 2D noncommutative spacetime. It is shown that coordinate noncommutativity leads to: i) the existence of a minimalExpand
LETTER TO THE EDITOR: A model of radiating black hole in noncommutative geometry
The phenomenology of a radiating Schwarzschild black hole is analysed in a noncommutative spacetime. It is shown that noncommutativity does not depend on the intensity of the curvature. Thus, weExpand
Noncommutative Black Holes, The Final Appeal To Quantum Gravity: A Review
We present the state of the art regarding the relation between the physics of Quantum Black Holes and Noncommutative Geometry. We start with a review of models proposed in the literature forExpand

It is shown that scattering in such topological fluctuations leads to loss of quantum coherence, or in other words, to a superscattering matrix that does not factorise into an $S$ matrix and its adjoint. Expand
Quantum production of black holes
Abstract We give a path integral expression for the quantum amplitude to produce a black hole from particle collisions. When expanded about an appropriate classical solution it yields the leadingExpand

We obtain a new, exact, solution of the Einstein's equation in higher dimensions. The source is given by a static spherically symmetric, Gaussian distribution of mass and charge. The resulting metricExpand
Proton Decay, Black Holes, and Large Extra Dimensions

We consider proton decay in theories that contain large extra dimensions. If virtual black hole states are allowed by the theory, as is generally the case, then proton decay can proceed via virtualExpand
Nonsingular Dirac particles in spacetime with torsion
We use the Papapetrou method of multipole expansion to show that a Dirac field in the EinsteinCartan-Kibble-Sciama (ECKS) theory of gravity cannot form singular configurations concentrated on oneorExpand
