The objective of this work was to evaluate the beneficial effect Shemamruthaa (a siddha formulation which constitutes Hibiscus rosa sinensis, Emblica officinalis, and Honey in define ratio) on lipid metabolism in 7,12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene (DMBA)-induced mammary carcinoma-bearing rats. Lipid profile and lipid-metabolizing enzyme were investigated in serum, liver, and kidney of DMBA-induced mammary carcinoma-bearing SD rats.
