We aimed to investigate the preventive and treatment effect of molsidomine (MOL) on bleomycin (BLC)-induced lung injury in rats. Rats were assigned into groups as follows: control group; MOL group, 10 mg/kg MOL was continued orally for 29 day; BLC group, a single intratracheal injection of BLC (2.5 mg/kg), MOL+BLC-preventive group, 10 mg/kg MOL was administered 1 day before the intratracheal BLC injection and continued for 14 days; BLC+MOL-treatment group 10 mg/kg MOL was given on 14th day…
Protective and Therapeutic Effect of Apocynin on Bleomycin-Induced Lung Fibrosis in Rats
Interestingly, APO treatment reversed MPO activity in serum increased by BLC, which was accompanied with significantly the increased MDA, TOS levels, and OSI in the lung tissue concomitant with increased levels of the cellular account and proinflammatory cytokines in the BAL fluid.
Preventive Effect of Chrysin on Bleomycin-Induced Lung Fibrosis in Rats
It is demonstrated for the first time that CRS significantly prevents BLC-induced lung inflammation and fibrosis in rats.

Protective effect of dapsone against bleomycin-induced lung fibrosis in rat.
Saffron Protection against Bleomycin-Induced Pulmonary Fibrosis in Rats
Saffron is introduced as novel anti-fibrotic agent against bleomycin-induced fibrosis due to histological examinations and preventive effects on destructive enzyme release in rats and decreased collagen accumulation and alveolar destructive patterns in pulmonary fibrosis.
Crocin: a protective natural antioxidant against pulmonary fibrosis induced by bleomycin.
Crin therapy could modulate biochemical and histological changes induced by Bleomycin; therefore, it might be considered as an effective therapeutic approach against IPF.

It is found that MOL protected the retina from I/R injury by enhancing antioxidative effects and inhibiting apoptosis of retinal cells.

Effects of Molsidomine against Doxorubicin-Induced Cardiotoxicity in Rats
This study implies that there are cardioprotective effects of MOL on DOX-induced cardiotoxicity, and histological damage was significantly reduced in the DOX + MOL and MOL + DOX groups.
Protective effect of dexpanthenol on bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis in rats
It is shown that Dxp significantly prevents bleomycin-induced lung fibrosis in rats, and further studies are required to evaluate the role of Dxp in the treatment of Lung fibrosis.
Attenuation by oral N-acetylcysteine of bleomycin-induced lung injury in rats.
Results indicate that oral N-acetylcysteine improves the pulmonary antioxidant protection and may be useful in reducing lung damage produced by bleomycin.
Ginkgo biloba inhibits bleomycin-induced lung fibrosis in rats.
Molsidomine prevents cisplatin-induced hepatotoxicity.
Preventive effect of melatonin on bleomycin‐induced lung fibrosis in rats
It is revealed that melatonin may prevent the development of bleomycin‐induced lung fibrosis via the repression of protein and lipid peroxidation via the inhibition of catalase and glutathione peroxidase.
Erdosteine prevents bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis in rats.
Oral N‐acetylcysteine reduces bleomycin-induced lung damage and mucin Muc5ac expression in rats
Bleomycin increases the number of airway secretory cells and their mucin production, and that oral N‐acetylcysteine improved pulmonary lesions and reduced the mucus hypersecretion in the bleomycin rat model.
Effect of Resveratrol on Treatment of Bleomycin-Induced Pulmonary Fibrosis in Rats
It is concluded that resveratrol has some promising potential on the treatment of bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis in rats, however, different doses of the drug should be further studied.
