The effects of cinnamon aqueous extract (CAE) and ginger aqueous extract (GAE) on body weight and fats, serum levels of liver enzymes, blood lipids, glucose, leptin and insulin and on the activity of tissue antioxidant enzymes in obese diabetic rats were evaluated. Fifty four male Sprague Dawley rats were randomized into 6 equal groups.
