BACKGROUND Prior data clearly demonstrated the expression of prostate stem cell antigen (PSCA) mRNA in prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PIN) tissues. The purpose of the present investigation was to determine whether PSCA mRNA expression was associated with the presence of cancer in this disease.
