The fact that neutrinos are massive suggests that the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) might be extended in order to include three gauge-singlet neutrino superfields with Yukawa couplings of the type H2Lnuc. We propose to use these superfields to solve the mu problem of the MSSM without having to introduce an extra singlet superfield as in the case of the next-to-MSSM (NMSSM). In particular, terms of the type nuc H1H2 in the superpotential may carry out this task spontaneously…

To elucidate the composition of dark matter (DM) is one of the most important open questions in particle and astroparticle phenomenology. Within the framework of minimal supersymmetric extensions of

Searching for left sneutrino LSP at the LHC

We analyze relevant signals expected at the LHC for a left sneutrino as the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP). The discussion is carried out in the “[Formula: see text] from [Formula: see text]”

A facility to search for hidden particles at the CERN SPS: the SHiP physics case

It is demonstrated that the SHiP experiment has a unique potential to discover new physics and can directly probe a number of solutions of beyond the standard model puzzles, such as neutrino masses, baryon asymmetry of the Universe, dark matter, and inflation.

Right-handed neutrinos, domain walls and tadpoles in the superstring inspired $\mu\nu$SSM

We discuss the special role of right-handed neutrinos in the µν SSM for solving the µ - and ν -problems, simultaneously avoiding the potential domain wall and tadpole problems, In particular,

Direct evidence for neutrino flavor transformation from neutral-current interactions in the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory.

Observations of neutral-current nu interactions on deuterium in the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory are reported, providing strong evidence for solar nu(e) flavor transformation.

First results from KamLAND: evidence for reactor antineutrino disappearance.

In the context of two-flavor neutrino oscillations with CPT invariance, all solutions to the solar neutrinos problem except for the "large mixing angle" region are excluded.

Evidence for oscillation of atmospheric neutrinos

We present an analysis of atmospheric neutrino data from a 33.0 kton yr (535-day) exposure of the Super-Kamiokande detector. The data exhibit a zenith angle dependent deficit of muon neutrinos which

Topologies of the (M+1)SSM with a singlino LSP at LEP2

Abstract. We study the possible signals of the (M+1)SSM with a singlino LSP at LEP2. First we identify regions of the parameter space which are ruled out by negative results of sparticle searches in
