4 Abstract: Alosa caspia is a common fish in the southern part of Caspian sea with little economical importance but because of its population in the Caspian sea it can be a vector for some parasites. There have been little studies on the parasites of shads in the Iranian part of Caspian sea. This is the first report of digene parasites in Caspian shads in iran. Pronoprymna ventricosa was previously reported in Iran only for two times, both from Clupeonella spp. And from the same catching sites… Expand
