In this paper we apply a recently proposed algebraic theory of integration to projective group algebras. These structures have received some attention in connection with the compactification of the M theory on noncommutative tori. This turns out to be an interesting field of applications, since the space of the equivalence classes of the vector unitary irreducible representations of the group under examination becomes, in the projective case, a prototype of noncommuting spaces. For vector…

In this paper we study the problem of quantizing theories defined over a nonclassical configuration space. If one follows the path-integral approach, the first problem one is faced with is the one of…

In this paper we consider the problem of quantizing theories defined over configuration spaces described by noncommuting parameters. If one tries to do that by generalizing the path-integral…

It is argued that the {ital K}3 orbifold with spin connection embedded in gauge connection corresponds to an interacting conformal field theory in the type I theory.

Noncommutative Geometry and Matrix Theory: Compactification on Tori

We study toroidal compactification of Matrix theory, using ideas and results of noncommutative geometry. We generalize this to compactification on the noncommutative torus, explain the classification…
