The goal of this manuscript is to present a partitioned Model Order Reduction method that is based on a semi–implicit projection scheme to solve multiphysics problems. We implement a Reduced Order Method based on a Proper Orthogonal Decomposition, with the aim of addressing both time–dependent and time–dependent, parametrized Fluid–Structure Interaction problems, where the fluid is incompressible and the structure is thick and two dimensional.

Reduced-order semi-implicit schemes for fluid-structure interaction problems
TLDR
Two different reduced-order methods are proposed, which differ on velocity continuity condition, imposed weakly or strongly, respectively, and the resulting ROMs are tested and compared on a representative haemodynamics test case characterized by wave propagation to assess the capabilities of the proposed strategies.
POD–Galerkin monolithic reduced order models for parametrized fluid‐structure interaction problems
In this paper, we propose a monolithic approach for reduced‐order modeling of parametrized fluid‐structure interaction problems based on a proper orthogonal decomposition–Galerkin method. Parameters
A Reduced Basis Model with Parametric Coupling for Fluid-Structure Interaction Problems
TLDR
A reduced order model with reliable a posteriori error bounds is obtained for steady fluid-structure interaction problems and rapid convergence of the reduced solution of the parametrically coupled problem as the number of geometric parameters is increased.
Splitting Methods Based on Algebraic Factorization for Fluid-Structure Interaction
TLDR
New semi-implicit algorithms based on inexact block-$LU$ factorization of the linear system obtained after the space-time discretization and linearization ofthe FSI problem are proposed, reducing the computational cost.
Robin Based Semi-Implicit Coupling in Fluid-Structure Interaction: Stability Analysis and Numerics
TLDR
A semi-implicit coupling scheme for the numerical simulation of fluid-structure interaction systems involving a viscous incompressible fluid that is stable irrespective of the so-called added-mass effect and allows for conservative time-stepping within the structure.
Incremental displacement-correction schemes for incompressible fluid-structure interaction
TLDR
This paper introduces a class of incremental displacement-correction schemes for the explicit coupling of a thin-structure with an incompressible fluid and provides a general stability and convergence analysis that covers both the incremental and the non-incremental variants.
A projection semi‐implicit scheme for the coupling of an elastic structure with an incompressible fluid
TLDR
This work introduces a semi‐implicit coupling scheme which remains stable for a reasonable range of the discretization parameters and proves (conditional) stability of the scheme for a fully discrete formulation.
